i am the saddest i have ever been in a long time.


im back aboard the single train....

birthday weekend!

that is the wonderful gift my boyfriend got me.

im so happy with it! it is quite possibly the most thoughtful and the most effort anyone has put into me ever. well, besides my mother of course. but thats a given.













for my birthday a group of my closest friends went to dinner at california pizza kitchen. it was pretty yummy, but it couldnt have tasted any better then being with the people i love most.















straight after dinner we went to downtown monterey. like, 30 people came out for my birthday and it was a blasty blast.

oh lord. i have the biggest obsession with how i met your mother, and am absolutely infatuated with marshal.





this morning, since my day of birth is tomorrow, i decided to make myself a breakfast padini.
well, problem is i don't have a padini press or a george forman grill (they work perfectly).
so i solved my issue with a pan and 2 heavy bowls....i just had to flip is once and...KABLAMMY.. the perfect padini.


i find myself cooking a lot now.
i guess thats what closing shifts at starbucks can do to a girl.

tonight is my big birthday celebration in monterey with like 25 of mine and my boyfriends friends. its gonna be a blast. im overly excited.



oh oh! my boyfriend, Andy, made me the greatest birthday present ever. ill take a picture of it when he brings it to my house. so thoughtful and all with love.

So, i have decided to start a "blog".

I have just purchased a Nikon D40 camera. I am in love.

therefore i have been taking pictures like crazy of many different things.
stalking the flowers in the backyard to "paparazziing" my mother while she cooks.




since this is my first entry of my bloggeroni, i decided to make 2 pancakes for myself this morning.


half a batch of Bisquick pancakes makes 2 of the fluffiest pancakes i have ever seen in in my life.
along with the tastiest. my mother had a big basket of blueberry's in the refrigerator and i had a really big urge to make blueberry pancakes, buuuuut i dont like whole blueberry's. i believe its a texture thing. soo i make plain jane, good ol' fashin pancakes.


one cup pancake mix.
1/2 a cup of milk.
one egg.

thats it. easy peasy.

they turned out sooo yummmmmy.
